Attending Coaches and Scouts:
ROPS: FINLAND, PREMIER LEAGUE
Juha Malinen, Head Coach of RoPS of the Finnish Premier League, will be attending his third Combine with PSC this winter in as many years. RoPS gained promotion to the Finnish Premier League in 2013, and that same season lifted the Finnish Cup, which qualified them for the 2014/15 Europa League. They have qualified for the Europa League the past three seasons, and signed goalkeeper Tyler Back after his attendance at PSC’s 2015 Salinas Combine.
JACKSONVILLE ARMADA: USA, NASL
Jacksonville Armada of the NASL are attending our winter combines, having signed and trialed a number of players in the last 3 years including PSC Florida Combine attendee, Jonathan Glenn. Other standout signings include Shawn Nicklaw, 16-year-old Chaim Roserie and 17-year-old Uday Arora. They play their home games at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville and have started the 2017 strongly with 5 games undefeated. The Armada have been attending PSC combines for the last 3 seasons and also run a successful U23 team playing in the NPSL (tier 4).
BODENS BK: SWEDEN, DIVISION 2
Bodens will be returning to PSC’s Combines ahead of their 2017 season, after signing six Combine players over the last two years, and trialing many more. Notable signings include Lewis Ellis, Matt Silva, Chase Miller, Andy Lorei, Gino Mauro Eddy Prugh, and many more. Alejanodry Gutierez and Leon Taylor both signed in 2017 and have been key players this season. The last two seasons have proved frustrating for the club, after narrowly missing out on promotion at the climax of both campaigns. Bodens will be attending our events in search of players to strengthen their push for promotion next year.
STORD SUNNHORDLAND FK: NORWAY, DIVISION 2
Newly-appointed Stord Sunnhordland Head Coach Jón Páll Pálmason will be making his third appearance at PSC’s Pro Soccer Combines this winter, looking for a range of players to add to his club’s roster. The Norwegian outfit, who compete in the third tier of the country’s football league system, were founded back in 2002 and lifted the Division Three league title back in 2004. Stord play their home matches in the Stord Stadion, and will be looking to make progress during the coming months and years with the help of PSC’s tryout events.
FK JURNIEKS: LATVIA, DIVISION 2
FK Jurnieks is a newly formed club playing in the capital city of Latvia, Riga. The club will be in search for a number of new players to bring into the club this summer. It is based in a prime location with access and exposure to many clubs at the higher levels in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. After attending PSC’s Summer Combines and Tours they have signed Andrew Torres, Jeison Castillo, Tanner Williams and Eric Carrion. The club does not have a limit on foreign players and is a good pathway for American players into European soccer.
FK KAUNO ZALGIRIS, LITHUANIA, PREMIER LEAGUE
FK Kauno Zalgiris is a professional soccer club in Kaunas, Lithuania. The club was founded in 2005 and is led by former Rangers and Lithuanian National team player Andrius Velicka who is the current Technical Director. Lithuania is a country that has very few restrictions on international players and is an excellent first step for American players looking to break into Europe. Kaunas is the second largest city in Lithuania and is a modern city and popular city. We look forward to welcoming the club to our winter events this year to view potential talent.
MARK TAYLOR, PSC AGENT
PSC’s FIFA Licensed Agent will be attending our winter combines. He exclusively represents a number of players from the English Premier and Football Leagues and a number of players from various top foreign leagues in North America and Europe. He is in direct contact with a vast amount of clubs from Europe’s premier leagues down to lower tier sides throughout the leagues.
PAUL TAYLOR, PSC MANAGING DIRECTOR
Paul Taylor, boasts over 35 years of top-level professional football experience from playing, coaching and management in both England and the USA. He has been responsible for a number of transfers after recent PSC events including Taylor Morgan: Signed with Ostersunds FK (Sweden), Stevie Manios: Trial with Brentford FC (England), Henry Booth: Trial with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (England) and Shane McInerney: Trial with Hibernians FC, Signed with Linkoping (Sweden).

What the Coaches have to say
What PSC are doing here in Orebro, Sweden is great. It’s a chance for American players to be seen by great coaches and scouts. As a coach its always fun to come out and see new players, even more to see players from a new country and different culture”
Axel Kjell, Orebro SK Coach (Swedish Allsvenskan)
I have had a great relationship with Tom Taylor PSC for 5 years now. At combines I get to work with players directly and learn their character which is important. I also trust PSC’s judgement of players even if I have not seen the play directly as they have a great reputation in the professional game
Christian Samuelsson, BK Boden Sporting Director (Sweden)
I’ve been working with PSC since they began in 2010 and these events are great for players and for coaches. I get to see a large number of players all at one time playing in a high level, professional environment that PSC create for the players.
Dave Irving, USL Hall of Famer, Tulsa Roughnecks (USL Pro)
What the players have to say
“PSC helped me showcase my skills for five weeks in Europe, and earning a trial with a club in the Championship is something I never thought was possible for me. I feel ready, especially after training hard every day with PSC’s professional coaches for the last five weeks.
Stevie Manios (CSU Northridge) trialed with Brentford FC (England)
“The Showcase tour was a great experience! I discovered that coaching staff of Danish Super League side HB Koge were watching. Talks between Mark Taylor (PSC CEO and Agent) and HB Koge progressed over the coming weeks and I ended up signing a two year contract!”
Shawn Nicklaw (UConn), signed with HB Koge (Denmark)
“The coaches and staff were exceptional in creating a comfortable, non-stressful environment where the players could be free to play. Since then, there’s been a lot of consistent communication and it has made this process easy to follow. I really appreciate everything that PSC and Simon Deeley (PSC Director) has done for me.”
Tori Ornela (CSU Bakersfield) signed with Haukar FC (Women’s Icelandic Premier League)
“It was surreal as I had to phone my parents and explain that I wouldn’t be back for three months. I had never done anything like this but I am glad I did it with PSC and please trust me, it’s worth it. It’s an amazing opportunity and I am very thankful to PSC, Tom and Simon (PSC Directors) for making it happen.”
Gary Cennerazzo, signed with Melleruds IF (Sweden), Tulsa Roughnecks (USL Pro) and FK Varnsdorf (Czech Republic)
“Your past accomplishments don’t really matter during the tryouts; I feel that if you play well over the three days, you’ll get a chance. There are so many coaches at the combines, and even if they don’t offer you an opportunity, the guys from PSC will work hard to help you organise a tryout, which is what happened in my case”
Steffen Kraus (George Mason University) signed with Karlslunds IF (Sweden)
