PSC Showcase Tour Players Earn Trials With Latvian Side FK Tukums 2000

PSC Showcase Tour players Kwame Appiah, Tae Young Kim and Andrew López Torres have earned trials with Latvian second-tier side FK Tukums 2000.

Strong performances during PSC’s 2018 Baltic Showcase Tour earned Appiah and Kim their opportunities, and both players will remain in Latvia for a trial period with the Division One outfit.

Meanwhile, 2017 Portugal and Spain Showcase Tour player, Torres, is currently trialling with Tukums, and will compete alongside both Appiah and Kim in upcoming trial games, as all three players look to earn their first professional contracts.

It may prove to be an invaluable opportunity for the Showcase Tour trio, who were recommended to Tukums by PSC Agency staff following the club’s request for a forward, centre-back and central midfielder – aligning with the positions of Appiah, Kim and Torres, respectively.

The trio of success stories represent a microcosm of PSC’s worldwide reach in recent years, with Appiah, Kim and Torres all hailing from not only three different countries, but three different continents: the USA (North America),  South Korea (Asia) and Columbia (South America), respectively.

Indeed, all three players will be looking to bring pride to their respective countries and continents in the coming days – and the staff here at PSC wish them the very best of luck.
