PSC, in conjunction with their partners First Wave Sports, are delighted to have organised Sunderland AFC’s pre season tour to the United States in July 2023 ahead of the 2023-24 season.

During their ten-day trip of the States, the Black Cats will face San Antonio FC at Toyota Field on 15 July before travelling to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take on New Mexico United at Isotopes Park on 19 July.

A third and final game shall take place on Friday 21 July, details of which will be confirmed shortly.

Sunderland Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman said; “We are really excited to be taking the team back to the US in the summer of 2023. It’s been a complex planning process over the past 12 months, as we wanted to ensure we combined a first-class training programme with an opportunity to engage with our overseas fanbase.”

PSC CEO and licensed Match Agent Mark Taylor added; “After taking Sunderland’s U21 team to Canada for a pre-season tour last July, we are delighted to cement the relationship further by organising their first team’s tour to the USA this summer. It’s something we’ve been working on for a number of months and the friendly games will be against some of the best teams / organisations in the USL. I’m sure it will be a great experience for the Teams involved and for their fans”.
