PSC is proud to announce Lee Holmes as the new VIP Program Director for the upcoming Winter tryouts.

The former EPL player began his career with Derby County and became their youngest-ever player and goalscorer, as well as the youngest footballer to appear in the FA Cup. He has represented England at the under-16, under-17 and under-19 level.

We took the time to briefly catch up with the record breaker on his excitement at Directing PSC’s VIP program:

Hi Lee, please give us a brief background so that players interested in the VIP program can know who they will be working with
Hi to all! My name is Lee Holmes. I am a recently retired footballer in England having played professionally for 17 years at all levels of the game, playing for the likes of Southampton, Derby County, and Preston North End. I have been coaching for the past 3 years and am now a qualified UEFA coach. I’m really excited to be joining PSC and helping players develop on and off the pitch.

What is it about running PSC’s VIP program that you are excited about?
For me, running the VIP program is a chance to pass on the knowledge I have gained from playing at the top level, and hopefully give some marginal gains that could make a massive difference in a player's performance and their quest to become a professional footballer. I’ve already helped Paul Cooper from our Residential Program sign with Barnsley FC in England’s League One and believe my advice and guidance can help others find clubs at realistic levels of play.

How will a player benefit from your experience and how it will help their performance?
In football or soccer, there is always room to learn, for both players and coaches. I am really passionate about inspiring the next generation to thrive to be the best they can be, talking about all different areas of the game, technically and tactically, and ensuring you get everything you need to help you going forward as player.
