PSC is proud to announce another success story from our New York Tryout in December as Jannik Mohr departs for Iceland this weekend to trial with two different clubs.
Jannik’s performance at the tryout caught the eye of the attending coaches, however not enough for them to offer a direct trial or contract for him. PSC Agency Staff believed from what they saw that he was capable of being placed professionally in Europe and began the process of recommending him to clubs within our network and quickly developed not one, but two opportunities in Iceland.
The German center-back will try with Leiknir Faskrudsfjordur in Iceland’s Second Division before traveling to Dalvik of the Third Division the week after.
PSC Director of Placement Simon Deeley, who recommended The Southern New Hampshire Graduate to both clubs commented “It is great to see Jannik get the opportunity to earn himself a contract in Europe even though the clubs in attendance did not move forward with him we believed he had the ability to be placed and are delighted to have opened up both these trials for him”
Jannik’s story proves the value of PSC’s tryouts, it is not just the clubs in attendance you are showcasing to but PSC’s entire network.
All here at PSC wish Jannik the best and hope to be announcing his signing in Iceland in the coming weeks.
