PSC Orlando Combine participant Michael Czyrnek and Las Vegas participant Chris Wilkinson have earned a one-week trial with FK Jurnieks in Latvia. Both players were recommended by PSC Staff after displaying exceptional qualities at their respective combines. FK Jurnieks will offer each player an opportunity to take the next step towards a full-time football environment as the 2nd Division Club looks for promotion to Latvia’s Division 1. Both players will take part in a two-day tournament in Riga, Latvia starting this week as the team starts to prepare for its first league game in early May.

Wilkinson was recommended after a solid combined showing and performing well on PSC’s UPSL team this Fall. The rangy midfielder will look to impress Jurniek coaching staff during his 7-day trial with the club. Czyrnek was a standout in PSC’s Florida January Pro Combine. As a result, the Polish-born defender caught the eye of PSC Directors which bolstered interest from both Sweden and Latvia. The commanding center-back will look to display his skill set in the upcoming tournament in Riga.

FK Jurnieks offers PSC players a European pathway into full-time football. Entering just their second season, Jurnieks is aiming to secure promotion to Division 1 football.
