PSC Combine and UPSL Programme Participant Earns Trials With USL Side Orange County SC

PSC Pro Soccer Combine and UPSL Programme participant Jakub Waligorski has earned trials with USL side Orange County SC.

The 24-year-old defender attended PSC’s 2017 combines in Las Vegas and LA, producing a number of fine performances, leading to PSC Director Tom Taylor recommending his services to the club.

Waligorski becomes the sixth PSC UPSL Programme participant to earn a professional opportunity, benefitting from the programme’s daily professional training and competition in the UPSL Pro Premier Division.

But the Polish-born centre-back is no stranger to on-the-field success – and won plaudits for his standout performances at the heart of the UC San Diego men’s soccer team defence, from 2014 to 2016.

Now Waligorski faces perhaps his toughest test to date, as he looks to impress the Orange County coaching staff and put pen to paper on what would be his first professional soccer contract.

All of the staff here at PSC would like to wish Jakub the very best of luck during his trial period with Orange County OC.
