PSC Women’s Combine Duo Sign for Swedish Division One Side QBIK

PSC Pro Soccer Combine attendees Hannah Kimsey and Shanice Robe have signed professional contracts with Swedish Division One Club QBIK.

24-year-old Kimsey (pictured right) attended PSC’s inaugural Women’s Combine back in December 2014 – and generated interest from Swedish Premier Division side Mallbackens IF immediately after the event – but the central midfielder opted to stay in the States.

Most recently, QBIK reached out to PSC Director of Women’s Soccer, Simon Deeley, requiring a central midfielder. Deeley recommended Hannah to the club and the Concordia University graduate put pen to paper on a contract with the Swedish side.

Robe, who attended Barry University, was part of PSC’s Fort Lauderdale Combine in December last year – and impressed many coaches from the outset. Like Kimsey, 23-year-old Robe was recommended by Deeley when QBIK approached him in search of an attacking player to add to their side.

And QBIK Sporting Director, Tommy Bang, revealed just how vital he believes his two newest additions to the squad will be. He said: “I’m very excited. They [Kimsey and Robe] will be important for us to finish the season well.

“Hannah provides stability in midfield and is really good on the ball. Shanice is really fast and can score goals,” added Bang.

Furthermore, Tommy commented on how QBIK has benefitted from working closely with PSC in recent years. He said: “Without help from PSC, we would have never seen Hannah, Shanice or any of the other girls we’ve signed over the years.

“As a partner, PSC is outstanding; they help us with everything from staging the Combines so we can see the girls play live, to contract negotiations.”

All of the staff here at PSC wish Hannah and Shanice the very best of luck over in Sweden.
