PSC 2016 Elite Tour player Eddie Jones has earned a trial with Maltese Premier League outfit Hibernians FC, after several standout performances.
The 25-year-old impressed a variety of coaches during this year’s tour of Sweden and Finland and expressed his excitement and thanks for being presented with a trialing opportunity.
“I am very excited about the prospect of trialing with Hibernians FC, they are one of the top teams in Malta with a fantastic reputation,” said Jones.
“PSC has been fantastic in helping me to get to this stage, the tour of Sweden and Finland helped significantly. It allowed me to get in front of multiple professional coaches and ultimately led to this trial,” he continued.
The central midfielder was full of praise for the manner in which the Elite Tour was conducted this summer.
“My experience during the Elite Tour was fantastic, everything about the tour was extremely professional,” he said.
“It is clear the staff have a passion for helping players progress and develop to the next level, it is refreshing to see. All of the players were very well looked after across the tour – from training, games, hotels, and food; the attention to detail was superb,” Eddie continued.
Furthermore, Jones was quick to offer advice to any individuals who, like him, are looking to make it into the professional game.
“I would definitely recommend the Elite Tour to aspiring professional players – the staff really go above and beyond if you show you have the right attitude,” he said.
All staff here at PSC wish Eddie the very best in succeeding during his trial in Malta.
