2016 PSC Senior Elite Tour Player Aaron Horton Earns Trial With Finnish Side AC Kajaani

2016 PSC Senior Elite Team player Aaron Horton has earned a trial with third-tier Finnish side AC Kajaani, after impressing coaches during this year’s tour of Scandinavia.

The 24-year-old attracted interest from a number of European clubs during the early stages of the program, and last week traveled to Ireland where he trialed with Bray Wanderers of the Irish Premier League.

PSC Coach Declan Roche, who has been assisting PSC with player placement in Ireland for a number of years, recommended Horton to Bray and was full of praise for the frontman.

“Aaron immediately caught my attention when I first watched him play, he was scoring goals for fun,” said Roche.

“Aside from his clinical finishing, Aaron’s general attacking play was very impressive. His hold-up play, awareness, and most importantly his ability to find space in the right areas of the field seemed so natural – and that led me to recommend him to a number of clubs,” continued Roche.

Previous PSC player Chris Suta is currently plying his trade with Kajaani, and Horton will arrive in Finland today, with his trial at the club set to take place later this week.

All of the staff at PSC wish Aaron the very best of luck.
