PSC are proud to announce another 2014-15 winter combine success story as Chris Suta will trial with FC Jazz of the Finnish 1st Division. The offer comes after his standout performances PSC’s San Diego combine in December 2014 as well as PSC’s Summer 2014 Sweden / Finland Showcase.

Chris was first brought to the attention of PSC when recommended by Canadian Youth National team-mate Gino Mauro. Mauro is now into his second season with Boden BK after being signed from PSC’s Northern Sweden Showcase in January 2014. Having seen Mauro’s success Suta contacted PSC to see if he could experience the same results through our programs.

After contacting PSC staff, Suta was invited on PSC’s 2014 Scandinavia showcase where he caught the eye of Residential Program coordinator Patrick Walker as well staff from FC Jazz who were impressed with his performance against 2nd Division side Atlantis FC. Suta stayed with the residential program for the remainder of the season before returning home to Canada in September.

Despite not being signed in the summer he showed PSC Agency staff that he not only had the ability to play professionally but also had the correct attitude and temperament to be recommended to our contacts across Europe, America and Asia.

As a result he was invited to our San Diego combine in December 2014 where he again impressed on and off the field. FC Jazz Director Tomi Leivo-Jokimäki had kept a close eye on the combine events during December in the hunt for new players for 2015 and PSC were quick to recommend the Canadian Center back to the Finnish club.

Suta will now head to Pori to trial with the 1st Division club – we wish him all the best in his upcoming trial and hope to see the Canadian stopper plying his trade in Finland shortly!
