PSC are proud to confirm the signing of James Bolger with Drogheda United in the Irish Premier League.
Bolger’s story with PSC started in February when as a college graduate with no direct pathways into the pro game he attended one of PSC’s Pro Soccer tryouts in Denver, Colorado.
The Northwestern college graduate caught the eye of PSC staff who recommended him to clubs but were unable to secure a direct trial or offer for him. Bolger then joined PSC’s elite showcase tour to Malta & UK in March where his standout performances against professional opposition saw him recommended to Bodens BK in Sweden who signed him for the 2024 season.
Fast forward 3 months and James’s performances in Sweden have continued to impress and PSC were quick to find him an upward movement to trial in the Irish Premier League this week. After a successful week on trial he has now signed with the club for the remainder of the 2024 season.
Bolger is the second PSC player this season to make the move from Bodens to Drogheda after Zishim Bawa signed earlier this year.
