After originally impressing at our December pro tryout in Atlanta, Inaki Moreno, has signed with Bodens BK, a professional soccer club in Sweden. His first pro contract follows his impressive performance during a four-week residential program hosted by PSC in Sweden, Denmark, and England.

Inaki’s journey began at the PSC pro soccer tryouts held in Atlanta, where he was identified as a player with professional potential, despite no direct offers being extended at that time. Recognizing his talent and potential, PSC extended an invitation for Inaki to join their elite residential program, designed to showcase aspiring players to clubs across Europe.

Inaki, who was recommended to PSC by his Milligan University Head Coach, Patrick Sweeney, seized the opportunity and made an immediate impact during the program playing against professional outfits. His consistent performance, and a goal from 55 yards, caught the attention of PSC Director Lee Holmes who recommended Inaki to Tom Taylor, PSC Director, who then arranged for Inaki to sign with Bodens just two weeks into the four week residential program.

This signing marks a significant milestone in Inaki’s soccer career, setting the stage for his professional journey in Europe. Bodens BK, who have signed and trialed over 30 players through PSC in the last ten years have a good reputation for helping move players into higher leagues as was the case with most recent PSC signing at Bodens, James Bolger. Bolger spent two months with Bodens BK before his standout performances earned him a move to the Irish Premier League with Drogheda United.

"I’m thrilled to begin my professional career with Bodens BK," said Inaki Moreno. "The PSC program was an incredible experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and growing as a player in Sweden."

Tom Taylor, PSC Director commented: "When James Bolger left Bodens BK earlier in the window there was a gap to fill at the club. As soon as I had seen Inaki standing out against professional clubs I was confident in recommending him to Bodens who trust our opinion and signed him without trial. Our hope is he can follow the same path as James and use this as a stepping stone into higher levels."

All here at PSC wish Inaki the very best as he begins his pro career in Sweden. Interested in following in his footsteps? Check out our upcoming pro tryouts:
