California Combine Standout signs in Europe

PSC are proud to confirm eighteen-year-old Natan Stone has signed with Zurrieq FC in Malta after impressing on tour in Sweden in 2023 and again at our 2024 LA Pro Tryout.

Stone was signed by Zurrieq FC Director Mark Miller who first saw Natan Stone in Sweden in the summer of 2023 on PSC’s Elite Youth Showcase to Sweden. The then 17-year-old’s performances in Sweden and at the Gothia Cup impressed Miller. Fast forward a year and with his club in search of a young keeper Miller attended PSC’s California Pro Tryout where he saw Natan again and came forward to sign the now 18-year-old Goalkeeper.

PSC Director Tom Taylor, who also worked with Natan in Sweden, commented: “We are really pleased for Natan to get this opportunity, as a goalkeeper it’s always going to be more difficult to get an offer in comparison to an outfield position. He had a fantastic gothia cup tournament last summer as a 17 year old with us and all of the staff were very impressed with his performances and attitude over the 10 days. He’s gone away from the tour in a positive mindset and has continued to put himself in a full time environment by playing and training as much as possible. Fast forward 1 year and an opportunity has now arose with a club wanting a young goalkeeper and Natan attended our summer combines in great fitness and performed to a high level showing again his quality. I’m sure he’s going to have a great experience in Malta and more importantly he’s now been given a great opportunity to start his professional career and another example of how the PSC process is successful for young, aspiring players.

We caught up with Natan after he arrived in Malta and linked up with his new club:
