PSC is proud to announce that Sulahmana Bah has officially signed with Maltese Premier League side Sliema Wanderers FC, following a standout season in the BOV Challenge League with Żurrieq FC.

Sulahmana — known to PSC as “Sully” — has been on a long, determined journey through PSC’s platform. After attending multiple PSC tryouts over the years, he first earned trials with USL Championship side Charleston Battery and Swedish club Bodens BK after been identified by them at Atlanta and Orlando PSC events. Unfortunately neither resulted in a professional contract after trialing with the clubs.

He did not give up and continued to showcase at PSC’s tryouts and showcases when many would have given up. He was determined and signed in the Faroe Islands with B71 Sandoy after being recommended by PSC agency staff and ended up scoring 5 goals in 5 starts for the club in the 2023 fall season. Even after doing well in his first season as a pro Sully was not guaranteed any contracts and was willing to come and showcase again in Chicago in the summer of 2024.

His desire to earn a contract was clear, and his performances caught the eye of Joel Lindpere from Tallin Kalev of the Estonian Premier League and Zurrieq FC Technical Director Mark Miller, the latter signed him for the club for the 2024-25 season.

The 23-year-old forward went on to score 20 goals during the 2024/25 season, finishing as the top scorer in the BOV Challenge League. His goalscoring haul made him one of the most sought-after players in the league drawing interest from multiple Maltese Premier League clubs as well as offers from clubs in Asia, North America and other European leagues.

PSC Director Tom Taylor commented

“We feel Sully has deserved this opportunity for a long time but as with most strikers he has had to prove his goalscoring ability at a lower tier in order to progress to a top tier level. Every credit to him, as he has been to multiple trials where we thought he was good enough for the level but the coach or club felt differently and he never let his head drop. He kept putting himself in showcase environments where he could be seen by pro coaches and because of that he now has his reward. We are also grateful for the opportunity given by FC Zurrieq to start his professional career as it’s been a great stepping stone and development opportunity for Sully to work with professional coaches on a daily basis and get given the opportunity to play week in, week out!”

He continued “This move to Sliema Wanderers is well deserved, and we hope it's just the next step toward an even higher level in Europe.”

Sully’s journey is a testament to his work ethic, resilience, and belief — and it also highlights how PSC’s platform continues to create real professional opportunities for players who are ready to invest in themselves.
