Avery Vander Ven has officially signed with ÍBV in Iceland, marking the start of her professional soccer career in Europe. The move comes after a strong collegiate career and was facilitated through PSC Soccer’s network, with Director of Placement Simon Deeley recommending her to the club.
ÍBV, based in Vestmannaeyjar, has a reputation for developing international talent and competing at a high level in Iceland’s top division. The club has previously signed several players through PSC, including former standout Jonathan Glenn, who went on to become one of the top scorers in the league. Avery now becomes the latest PSC player to take that path, showcasing the continued strength of the partnership between PSC and ÍBV.
With her professional journey now underway, all eyes will be on how Avery adapts to the European game and contributes to ÍBV’s success this season. PSC will be closely following her progress and supporting her throughout the next stage of her career.
