Like many players before him, Jhoel Sarraude attended PSC’s Florida Pro Tryout with the goal of showcasing well enough to earn a professional contract—and that’s exactly what he did.

After three strong days in front of PSC agency staff and Zurrieq FC Technical Director Mark Miller, Jhoel (pictured above with Mom, Dad and little brother) has signed his first professional contract with the Maltese club and will fly out to join them this week.

Reflecting on his experience, Jhoel shared:
“I had a great experience at the tryout. The high-level coaches gave great advice and were very supportive throughout the event. This is my first pro contract, and people who know me know how hard I’ve worked for this moment.”

He added:
“I’m just a kid from Maui with a dream and so grateful to PSC and the club for giving me this opportunity."

When asked if he had any advice for players looking to attend PSC tryouts in the future he gave simple but effective advice: 
"Believe you're next!"
