After high quality performances on PSC’s March Showcase Tour to England & Malta James Bolger has signed with Swedish Division Two side Bodens BK.

Bolger was initially highlighted to Bodens BK Head Coach Christian Samuelsson by PSC Director Tom Taylor after his performances at our Denver pro Tryout in February. 

Bolger continued his high level performances on tour in England against high level teams Stoke City, Derby County and Chesterfield. Coach Samuelsson took advantage of PSC’s livestreaming service to watch the central defender play against Maltese Premier League sides Marsxlokk & Mosta. After watching him live the Swedish club came forward with an offer for Bolger to join the team for the 2024 season which he duly accepted.

Bolger commented “Here in England and Malta we have played against high quality teams, and met some great people…you wont get this type of experience and opportunity without putting yourself forward and working with an agency like PSC”

PSC Director Simon Deeley added “James is another player who has benefitted from the connections PSC have in order to sign in a country outside of the one he is touring in. Clubs in England & Malta highlighted him but none came forward with an offer so it was up to us to generate an offer that his performances deserved. Ironically we play against Bodens BK on our showcase tour this summer so James will more than likely face off against our next set of professional hopefuls!”

PSC’s next Showcase Squad will travel to Sweden & Finland this July with the hope of placing more players like James professionally.
