At every PSC tryout, you’ll play live and work directly with professional coaches, scouts, and sporting directors who will help you showcase to your best. Each of the following clubs will be in attendance personally at the upcoming tryouts or will be recruiting via PSC Agency Staff.

Charlotte FC is a professional club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top-tier league in the United States. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the team launched in 2022 and plays its home matches at Bank of America Stadium. Backed by strong fan support and ambitious ownership, Charlotte FC has quickly built a competitive roster featuring international talent and U.S. national team players. The club is focused on long-term development and success, providing a pathway to professional soccer at the highest level in North America. Charlotte FC’s participation in PSC events offers valuable exposure to top-tier coaching and scouting for players. 

Birmingham Legion, a top club in the USL Championship, will be attending PSC’s upcoming Pro Tryouts in search of standout talent. Head Coach Mark Briggs has worked closely with PSC for over a decade, recruiting players during his time with Wilmington Hammerheads and Sacramento Republic. Known for identifying and developing quality players, Coach Briggs and his staff trust PSC tryouts as a key part of their scouting process.

USL Championship side Oakland Roots SC, a proud community-based club, will be attending PSC’s upcoming pro tryouts in search of new talent. The Roots previously identified PSC forward Shaq Blackstock, who trialed with the club in July 2025 after impressing at a PSC event and will be looking for more talent at our New York Pro Soccer tryout.

Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL Championship will be attending PSC’s Pro Tryouts this summer. Known for their competitive standards and professional environment, Rowdies have attended multiple PSC tryouts in the past and trialed Reney Merone after he stood out at PSC's 2024 Florida tryout. Tampa Bay offers a genuine opportunity for players looking to break into the U.S. pro game at a high level.

Drogheda United play their football in the Irish Premier League having won the Irish First Division in 2020. They have developed a good reputation since 2005 by winning two Setanta Sports Cups, an FAI Cup, a League Cup, and their first league title, the 2007 League of Ireland Premier Division. Their current roster has PSC players Zishim Bawa and James Bolger who signed earlier this year and they will be using PSC's New York Pro Soccer Tryout to recruit more talent for the coming months.

Galway United play their football in the Irish Premier League having won the Irish First Division in 2023 and will be using PSC's New York Pro Soccer Tryout to recruit more talent for the 2025 season. Head Coach John Caulfield has attended multiple PSC events and worked with a number of PSC players in the past when managing at Cork City who hosted a showcase game v PSC in 2019.

Mosta FC compete in Malta’s top division and regularly feature in UEFA qualifiers. Known for developing talent and providing pro opportunities, they’ve signed or trialed over 10 PSC players—making them a proven gateway for players seeking European exposure and experience.

Hamrun Spartans FC are Malta’s most successful club in recent years, winning three straight league titles (2023–25) and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. With strong fan support and top-level ambition, it’s a great gateway to a European pro career.

Champions League club Breidablik will be recruiting from PSC’s New York Pro Soccer Tryout after winning the Icelandic Premier League in 2024 and securing Champions League qualification. They’ve recruited from PSC events for over seven years, offering a proven pathway for player development and European exposure.

ÍBV, one of Iceland’s top-tier clubs, has a strong history with PSC, including the signing of Jonathan Glenn, who became the league’s second-top scorer and Player of the Year after a PSC tryout. The club continues to scout PSC events for talent ready to compete at the professional level and signed Avery Van Der Veer in Januray 2025.

KFA, a competitive club in Iceland’s second tier, has signed over 10 PSC players in recent years, including standout forwards Abdul Mansaray and Jacques Fokam Sandeu. Abdul earned Team of the Year honors after a breakout season, while Jacques impressed enough to earn higher league opportunities across Europe. KFA continues to be a strong pathway for PSC players seeking entry into European football and a springboard to higher levels.

KF Fjallabyggðar, who compete in Iceland’s Division 3, offer a perfect entry point for first-time professionals. The club previously attended a PSC tryout where they signed Nathan Yared and trialed another standout. They’ll return to PSC’s upcoming tryouts in search of more talent to strengthen their squad.

MLS Next Pro side North Texas SC are no stranger to the quality that PSC tryouts produce. The Texas based club signed PSC forward Leo Londe in 2024 who had previously been on trial at Sheffield United in the EPL. They will be using PSC's tryouts in search of more talent they can add to their roster. 

Northern Colorado Hailstorm of the 2026 NISA League will once again be recruiting from PSC Tryouts this winter, having already signed 5 players from PSC events in recent years. Coach Colin Falvey has been working closely with PSC for many years and has been directly responsible for all of the Hailstorm’s signings from PSC combines, which include Erek Graham, Chase Gozdieski, Dane Valenti, Gabriel Jurado, and Ivan Jaramillo.

Nicky Law is a former professional midfielder with an 18-year playing career and over 650 appearances across England, Scotland, and the USA. He is currently the Head Assistant Coach at MLS NEXT Pro side North Texas SC and has been attending PSC tryouts for the past three years. In that time, he has identified and brought four players into trials with Tampa Bay Rowdies and North Texas SC. This winter, he will once again be using PSC’s Pro Tryouts to scout and recruit talent he believes can make the step into the professional game in the United States.

Christian Samuelsson has signed, trialed, and recommended more players than any other PSC coach over the past 15 years, bringing more than 35 players into the professional game in Sweden through his work with Bodens BK. Among his many success stories are James Bolger and Zishim Bawa, who both went on to compete in the Irish Premier League and lift the Irish Cup Final trophy. He also helped launch the careers of Andy Lorei, Jesus Ibarra, and Eddy Prugh, who, after breaking through in Sweden, went on to establish themselves with successful careers in the USL.

Now joining PSC as our Scandinavian Director, Christian will use his extensive network and experience to help identify and place standout players from our upcoming tryouts across Scandinavia.

Rick Schantz is a highly respected American coach best known for his success with Phoenix Rising FC in the USL Championship. Under his leadership, Phoenix became one of the league’s most dominant teams, earning multiple Western Conference titles. Schantz is recognized for his attacking style, ability to develop young players, and experience navigating the professional U.S. soccer landscape. He brings a wealth of knowledge and network connections to PSC tryouts, offering players critical insights into what it takes to succeed professionally in the U.S and the opporutnity to be placed with clubs in his network in the USL leagues. His presence ensures accurate evaluation and real opportunity for talented individuals aiming for the next level.

Maltese First Division side FC Zurrieq will be in recruiting at our New York Pro Soccer Tryout in search of more players they can add to their roster from PSC tryouts. The club signed 18-year-old Kalani Delarole from a PSC tryout this season who has gone on to score 20 goals for the U20 team and also make his professional debut this campaign scoring 4 goals for the first team. In 2024 they have already signed three PSC players Sulahmana Bah, Nate Stone and Jerry Mwenda.

Coach Mark Miller has been working with PSC for nearly ten years and in that time has assisted with the placement of over 40 players in Malta across the top two tiers. Having placed over 10 players in the Maltese Premier League Miller has also been responsible for the recent signing of Kalani Delarole with FC Zurrieq. He will be recruiting from our New York Pro Soccer Tryout in search of more players who can play in the Maltese Premier League.

PSC Licensed Agent and CEO Mark Taylor has represented hundreds of players across his career across levels as high as the EPL & MLS. He is well connected in USA and throughout Europe having organized and hosted professional tours on behalf of EPL sides and La Liga sides such as Everton FC, Real Valladolid CF and the Argentine Men's National Team. The company used Mark’s professional network to place standout players from PSC Combines. He will be using PSC's New York Pro Soccer Tryout and to find players he can recommend to his contacts in the professional game. 

PSC Director Tom Taylor played professional soccer in England, Norway and America from 2003 until 2011 including Viking FK and Portland Timbers. After playing, Taylor continued a coaching career in the US as first team Coach at Wilmington Hammerheads and Tulsa Roughnecks in the USL Championship. Since initiating PSC in 2010 he has been responsible for operations of PSC Soccer and turning it into the United States most successful soccer academy for placing players into the pro game in Europe and USA. Tom has been responsible for, or assisted with, every single one of our men’s player placements in since 2010 and has an extensive network of contacts throughout Europe and USA and will be recommending stand out players from PSC's New York Pro Soccer Tryout.

PSC Director Simon Deeley is a UEFA and USSF licensed coach who has worked with PSC since 2011 as Director of Player Recruitment and Placement. During this time he has directed over 60 showcase tours and more than 150 Professional Soccer Combines throughout the US and Europe assisting and facilitating in all of the 600+ success stories we have announced since 2010. Simon has been personally responsible for beginning the professional careers of over 200 players in Europe, most recently Martim Sequeira and Jacques Fokam Sandeu in Iceland and will be looking for more players capable of playing professionally in Europe at our New York Pro Soccer Tryout.

Lee Holmes is an English former professional footballer who played for a number of clubs including Southampton, Derby County, Portsmouth and represented England at U16. U17 and U19 level. Holmes was Derby County youngest ever player at just 15 years of age, as well as the youngest goalscorer at 16, and at the time the youngest footballer to appear in the FA Cup (aged 15). Holmes has been working PSC for the past two years and assisted with placements such as Leo Londe on trial with Sheffield United in the English Premier League and Paul Cooper who signed with Barnsley FC in England League 1. Holmes is also PSC's Residential Program Director which has seen 8 players offered professional opportunities in the last 2 years.

Michael Anhaeuser will be in attendance at our New York Pro Soccer Tryout in search of players capable of making the grade in the USL. Coach Anhaeuser knows the USL system intimately having won the USL Championship as both a player and as a coach. He coached and played in the USL for 27 years where he signed and trial over 30 players from PSC combines so knows the process of a PSC combine and the quality of player it produces.

Over the last 10 years PSC Agency staff have recommended over 600 players from tryouts like this for professional contract and trial. Our agency staff have so many connections and contacts from events and combines over the years and it is not possible to invite them all to a tryout. We are eager to get as many players placed as possible and are constantly reaching out to clubs to find out their player needs. Recent examples of players who were placed with clubs who were not in attendance directly at a tryout and signed players based on PSC's recommendation are Anthony Herbert signing with FC Haka in the Finnish Premier League (went on to represent National Team and play in Europa conference League in first full year as a pro), Leo Londe trialing with Sheffield United in the EPL,  Abdul Mansaray signing in Iceland (named in team of the year for his league) and Chris Banfi, who signed with Bodens BK in Sweden. Each of these were signed by coaches who did not directly attend a combine but trusted PSC’s professional experience and judgment. If you prove you are a strong enough player at our New York Pro Soccer Tryout, we will look to recommend and place you with any club in our network.

Combine FAQ's

Can I pay cash and sign up on the day?
We cannot accept payment on the day at the fields as we schedule the event, including players and teams, 48 hours in advance of game one to ensure the event runs smoothly. It would be logistically difficult to plan an event whilst not being sure exactly how many players are going to turn up. Also, our combines sell out on average 2-3 weeks in advance therefore there will be no availability by day one. We recommend players sign up early to avoid disappointment.

When is the deadline to pay?
Registration for our combines close 24 hours before the event starts. However we usually sell out well in advance of day one. Once we are sold out we cannot accept any players regardless of their resume. Our goalkeeper and attacking spots are always first to sell out so we recommend goalkeepers sign up as early as possible.

Who can attend PSC tryouts?
PSC tryouts are open to players aged 15 and older of all levels—from academy and collegiate players to free agents and experienced professionals.

What should I bring to the tryout?
Players should bring black shorts, black socks, a white top (unless enrolled in the VIP package), shin guards, boots, water, and any personal items needed for training.

What happens if I get injured or can't attend?
If you are unable to attend due to injury, emergency, or any other reason, you will be eligible to attend any PSC tryout within the next 12 months for just $50 if you give 5 days notice by email.

Does the fee include hotel and transport, or airport shuttles?
The registration fee does not include hotel and transport, players are responsible for all travel.
