How long have they been attending events?
Sporting Director Joel Lindpere has been attending PSC tryouts in USA and showcase tours in Europe for over 5 years. Lindpere had a top level career playing over 100 times for the Estonian National Team and playing for New York Red Bulls where he was named MVP ahead of Thierry Henry. Lindpere also played in the MLS with Chicago Fire and made over 100 MLS appearances so is aware of the strength that America brings on the soccer field.

Have they offered opportunities to players from PSC events before?
Yes - Joel Lindpere signed both Aaron and Ethan Russ in 2022 after seeing both players at our New York tryout and then subsequently on tour in Spain. They have also signed Roger Lee, as well as trialed a number of other players who impressed at PSC tryouts 

Why play for JK Tallinna Kalev in Estonia?
On the field
Kalev have a solid reputation for developing players and moving them on to higher level clubs in Europe. Most recently moving a player to Portuguese giants Porto. For players attending our tryouts the club is a realistic stepping stone to the professional level and also offering opportunities to progress to some of Europes top clubs. PSC player Eric McWoods had a successful season in Estonia before moving on to play in the Hungarian Premier League.

Off the field
Out of towners live a comfortable life in the capital city of Tallin. Most locals speak fluent English and the cost of living is low for Europe and significantly lower than many parts of USA. Known for having a low crime, a good healthcare system and a high accessibility score it is easy to understand why many are moving to the capital of Estonia to enjoy a better way of life.

By attending any of our upcoming pro tryouts this summer. Joel Lindpere has signed and trialed players based on our recommendation alone, such as Roger Lee, so even if he is not at the tryout you attend you can still find yourself playing in Estonia this year if you perform well enough at any of the following:
