How long have they been attending events?
Sporting Director Tobias Strand attended his first tryout this winter and showed interest in a number of players. Jaro will also host our Men's showcase tour in July/August.
Have they offered opportunities to players from PSC events before?
A number of players were highlighted from the 2024 January tryouts by Coach Strand however none came to fruition. The club are able to sign foreign players though and hope to find what they're looking for this summer!

On the field
Jaro is the perfect starting point for a player with no professional experience looking to break into the game. With high standards set at the club and a professional environment a player can develop well in Jaro and springboard their career.
Off the field
Jakobstad is a beautiful, historical town on the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia. The locals are friendly and most speak English so it will be an easy transition for anyone coming from outof town to settle in quickly.

FF Jaro will be using all 6 of our summer tryouts to recruit talent for the coming season. Impress at any of the following tryouts and you could be playing your soccer professionally in Finland!
