On the field
Zurrieq is a chance for first time pros to make a name for themselves and get their foot on the ladder. They are in a position to sign foreign players and bring them into the country and have good training facilities and a professional set up – a perfect place for a first time pro to get their foot in the door.

Off the field
Malta is a tourist destination for most of Europe and further as well due to its year round sun and good food. English is spoken by almost all locals and it is a safe destination in general, much less crowded than mainland Europe. PSC Directors Comments on playing with FC Zurrieq in Malta
PSC Director Simon Deeley’s thoughts on playing with FC Zurrieq.
"Players should jump at the opportunity to play with FC Zurrieq in Malta, even if just to enjoy the country for a season. They are the kind of club we are targeting for our tryouts as they are an achievable level for first time pro’s and have shown in the past they will sign foreign players and have the infrastructure to support them when in Malta. A good season at Zurrieq can lead to much higher things!
